A Vague Mention Of This Place

I think when most people are growing up they either become in love with where they are from and find pride in it or they have an undying desire to get the hell out of where they are from .
Finding pride in where you are from is funny to me as its a geographic mistake or game of chance .
You are from where your parents f**ked which does not mean you should find pride in it , it means you have the choice of being proud of where you were born .

To me I think you should be proud of who you came from not where.
And in some cases you should not be proud of any of these random natural flukes .

I personally have to say I am less and less happy with where I am from and have spent the majority of my adult live trying to avoid it. But as time goes by its not the place I want to avoid it is the people.
And in all truth my past has been something I'd love to avoid too.

Im from what can only be described as north east purgatory where dreams are rare and those who follow them are even more rare.
Where those with passion drive and hopeful creative spirits are made to feel foolish for ever feeling excited about art or culture or creativity because there is a chance you might fail !
People in little town fear failure so much they would rather live the day to day and not risk the option of losing.
Be an adult , get married, have kids, and a small house , and shitty 9-5 and 5 days a week go to the same over and over with the highlight of a televised event to close out the weeks drudge and labor .
These people have passions they wanted to be something at some point in their life but they got to a point or some one said their ideas were stupid dreams and never gonna happen and they said yeah you are right and they went on their paths .

I personally dont think people have purposes here any more than a cat has one to shit in a box its just what they do because its in their nature.
Rights and goals and morals and values are human creations and self appointed .
People set goals so they can do something with the time they have on earth .
Some people want to get a pizza friday and watch the game and thats a goal .
Some people want to entertain and make people forget how boring and awful life can be .
Some people just want to have the world hand them hope.
And some people get it !

Its all bullshit and its all a time killer . Small towns breed big dreams with little result and more often than not the ones who end up doing something amazing are both treated like a local treasure and become bar room fodder when not in ears distance of insult.

I guess the thing is risks and Passions are 50/50 sure you may piss in the wind but sometimes the wind will allow you to piss on others from a great distance !

you will do things you didnt know you did

Put Down The Remote & Pick Up A Pen Asshole..

A lot of people do not understand the concept of passion , do not have it or do not know how to find their calling or never look past the dreaming concepts in childhood.

 No you cannot be whatever you want & you most certainly will never fly !  However  you can find something in you everyone has some creative spark and most people never even look past their child hood . They just go to work come home and watch tv ,sleep and repeat ! and if that is your passion then by all means .If you don't know then grab a pen or paint brush and scribble something down .. Write a book even if its awful and only you ever read it just  f**k'n do something !

And I think furthering that topic if you don't have passion you will never understand someone else's !

And as you tell said individuals what they do is dumb and to get a real job or they are wasting their time ,

ask your self what is it you put your heart and sole into ??? And default responses like " my children & career " do NOT apply obviously those things are important and priority but what do you do for you ?

Putting in overtime @ McWindyKing does not count nor does making it a goal to hump the girl that works the shake area !  and besides that she is a little slow and thats just wrong ... 

Wait where was I? 

Oh Yeah until you have it you don't know it ... 

below are a list of things that should not be qualified as passions ..

Watching sporting events that you could actually do . like fishing and golf so on so forth!

Making your children be in beauty shows looking like 1980s street walkers , for fuck sake stop it.

Just because you could not be miss beauty queen doesn't mean your child should be forced to suffer for our lack of looks lol. And if your child genuinely has interest in this keep their fucking heads straight !

If there is one thing the world doesn't need more of is a bunch of self obsessed people running around 

thinking they are better than everyone while living in a trailer park washing them selves with a sponge on a stick !
